Summer Activities
Summertime in Sainte Foy is arguably more beautiful than winter, apart from the snow covered trees of course! Mountain walks, local wildlife and stunning views make this small alpine resort the perfect get away. Soak up the beautiful waterfalls and enjoy a picnic in our perfect little retreat!

Local Bourg St Maurice also has a whole host of summertime activities for you to enjoy. Mountain biking trips can be arranged which conveniently pick up in St Foy, or you can venture to nearby Les Arcs and take a bike up on the summer lifts. A very friendly stables in Bourg can cater for both kids and experienced riders if you fancy an alpine or cross-country Horse-riding trek. Or maybe you’d like to learn to Parasend? Courses can be arranged for your stay or just a tandem trip if you’d prefer to just be blown away by the views. The river that runs down through Bourg St Maurice and beyond provides the perfect location for White water rafting and Hydrospeeding, both incredibly great fun! as are Canoeing and Canyoning.

The warm summers are a big part of the reason we have found and stayed in St Foy, we believe you could enjoy it just as much as the winters.

Don’t forget it is also possible to ski in summer, up in the glacier in Tignes!
